*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Periodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in periodontal care and a commitment to providing exceptional patient service. This role involves diagnosing and treating periodontal diseases, performing surgical procedures, and collaborating with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. The Periodontist will also play a vital role in educating patients about oral health and preventive measures.

*Duties*
* Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess periodontal health.
* Diagnose periodontal diseases and develop appropriate treatment plans.
* Perform surgical procedures such as gum grafts, dental implants, and pocket reduction surgery.
* Utilize advanced technology, including CAD systems, for treatment planning and execution.
* Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Abeldent.
* Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to provide integrated care for patients.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of periodontal health.
* Stay updated on the latest advancements in periodontology and related fields.
*Requirements*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Completion of a residency program in periodontics.
* Valid state dental license to practice as a Periodontist.
* Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
* Experience with dental office management software, including Dentrix and Abeldent, is preferred.
* Familiarity with CAD technology is a plus.
* Experience working with pediatric patients is desirable but not mandatory.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
