*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Kinesiologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human movement and rehabilitation, providing support to patients in their recovery journey. This role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that enhance physical function and improve quality of life. *Responsibilities* * Conduct assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to determine appropriate treatment strategies. * Develop personalized exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs and goals. * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. * Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care. * Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress using computerized systems. * Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication with healthcare professionals. * Participate in case management activities to coordinate care for patients across various settings. * Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing office communications via Outlook. *Requirements* * A degree in Kinesiology or a related field is required. * Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. * Proficiency in computer operation with experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word. * Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred. * Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is an asset. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as effective communication is essential for patient care. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks effectively. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence when required.
