Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Instruct apprentices. Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations. Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards. Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects . Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers. Assign projects to subordinates and staff related to work safety, environmental safety and accident prevention.. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.- LocationNorth York, ON
