Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD). Prepare proposals. Analyze technical documents and reports. Assist in supervising construction projects. Prepare working drawings. Estimate costs and materials. Construct architectural and display models. Assist in design development. Prepare presentation graphics and drawings. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. Autodesk REVIT. InDesign. Area of work experience: Design. Architectural specialization: Commercial and/or industrial construction. Interior and space planning. Renovation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Initiative. Organized.
