*About us* W.R. Barry and Son LTD is a family owned transport business in Kingsville, ON. We are professional and agile. Applicants with experience in transportation accounting and general filings preferred. *Responsibilities:* * Oversee financial operations related to transportation and logistics. * Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes. * Prepare financial reports and analyze data for decision-making. * Conduct bank reconciliations and account analysis * Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties * Periodical ON call & ability to work from home. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor?s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred. * Proven experience in transportation accounting or related roles. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and software. * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
