*The Role*
As an *Industrial Maintenance Electrician*, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems of our production equipment, working closely with the Production Manager to ensure optimal plant productivity.
*What You Will Do*
· Read and interpret electrical and electronic drawings.
· Troubleshoot and perform hands-on maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic controls, electromechanical systems, and plant equipment.
· Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams, PLC programs, and electrical components.
· Troubleshoot PLC equipment using laptop computers.
· Install, configure, and test new electronic systems and components to ensure they meet operational specifications.
· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
· Diagnose and resolve complex electronic issues using diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals.
· Create and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
· Maintain an organized inventory of electronic components and spare parts.
· Work closely with the Production Manager to prioritize maintenance tasks.
· Collaborate with external contractors, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
· Promote and ensure compliance with safety procedures across all maintenance activities.
*Knowledge & Qualifications*
Diploma or certificate from an accredited technical institute (or a combination of education and experience)
Knowledge of local electrical codes and the ability to write code and logic
A minimum of 3 years? experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Good written communication skills.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
