This is what this designer and manufacturer in business for over 50 years located in the Estrie region and Toronto will allow you to do.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have solid experience in transformer engineering, leadership skills and the ability to promote continuous improvement, productivity and product quality.</p>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering.</li><li>Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the field.</li><li>Proven experience in product development in the manufacturing sector.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of transformer design, manufacturing processes and industry standards.</li><li>Proven leadership and engineering project management skills.</li><li>Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder relationship management.</li><li>Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner.</li><li>Innovative mindset, focused on continuous improvement and engineering excellence.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands and technologies.</li><li>Available to travel between operating sites in Canada (Quebec and Ontario)</li><li>Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken).</li></ul><p><strong>Become an electrical engineering manager in Estrie.</strong><span> </span>Join a company recognized in its field of activity and for the quality of its products. You will evolve within a friendly, human team that highlights your entrepreneurial side.</p><ul><li>Very competitive salary.</li><li>Group insurance paid by the employer.</li><li>Group RRSP after 6 months.</li><li>4 weeks of vacation.</li></ul><p><strong>Location:</strong><span> </span>Estrie region</p> <br> Main responsibilities:<ul><li>Team leadership: support the team to ensure the production and delivery of high-quality transformers on time.</li><li>Process improvement: Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve product quality.</li><li>Interdisciplinary coordination: Ensure smooth communication between the electrical and mechanical engineering teams.</li><li>Problem Solving: Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues and implement design changes to improve product performance and manufacturability.</li><li>Production Management: Oversee the planning and execution of production schedules to meet customer demands and inventory requirements.</li><li>Quality Control: Implement rigorous measures to ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.</li><li>Safety Culture: Promote a safety culture by ensuring all operations comply with environmental, health and safety guidelines.</li><li>Data Analysis: Work with the Production Manager to analyze production data, identify trends and make informed decisions to optimize production.</li><li>Talent Development: Recruit, train and coach team members to build a high-performing team.</li><li>Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborate with sales, customer service and logistics teams to ensure alignment of production capabilities and customer requirements.</li></ul>- LocationSherbrooke, QC
