Your role will involve managing complex financial reporting issues related to transactions and other major transformational events.</span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span><span><b>Your responsibilities</b></span></span></span></span></span></p><ul><li><span><span><span>Lead and support the team and our clients through capital market transactions (e.g., IPO readiness, prospectuses, Business Acquisition Reports, pro forma financial statements, etc.) and various accounting change projects, including GAAP conversion in anticipation of a transaction, implementation of accounting policy changes and new accounting standards, and ESG reporting.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Support our Deals teams with the accounting implications of specific transactions (e.g., buy-side, sell-side, valuations, business combinations, consolidation accounting, divestitures, etc.).</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Collaborate with project teams and clients to prepare or review accounting whitepapers, diagnostic reports, complex accounting calculations, quarterly/annual financial statements, and management reporting to drive insights.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Take a leading role in understanding our clients' specific issues and contributing to the development of the appropriate project plan and deliverables to meet their needs.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Work flexibly and respond promptly to ad hoc requests by clients.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Focus on project details as well as quality of deliverables.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in business areas.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Assist in managing the project management component of client relationships.</span></span></span></li></ul><p><span><span><span><span><span><b>Your Skills and Experience</b></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span>You?re probably a match if you have:</span></span></span></p><ul><li><span><span><span>Experience managing teams in financial accounting and reporting, a deals environment, or public company audits.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and the team both verbally and in written communications in relation to complex issues and project status.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Qualified Canadian CPA or equivalent reciprocal/recognized designation.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>A strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and ASPE.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Emerging technical knowledge of ESG non-financial reporting frameworks, including TCFD, ISSB, and GRI, is beneficial.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) skills and an aptitude for technology and innovation.</span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span>The ability to build relatio- LocationMontréal, QC
