*Nutra Services* *Elizabeth Centre - 2100 Main St, Val Caron, ON P3N 1S7* *DIETARY AIDE* *General Outline* The Dietary Aide is responsible for provision of highest quality food service to residents and staff, safe food handling practices and proper sanitation procedures in keeping with the Ontario Regulation 243/84 under the Health Protection and Promotion Act. The Dietary Aide is responsible for cleaning the dining room and serving areas, operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, portioning salads, desserts and the like, and will assist the Cook in food preparation as necessary. The Dietary Aide may assume the duties of Cook in their absence. Participates in meal presentation. Must lift weights up to 4.5 kilograms/10 pounds on a daily basis; Must lift weigh up to 11.5 kilograms/25 pounds on an occasional basis. Must stand or walk for up to 2 hours * Part time and full time positions * Start immediately * Start wage $17.20, will increase on 2025 * Must have 2 covid vaccines * Must be able to obtain police check 2 step TB and Food Handlers training * No long term care experience needed * Any food service experience an asset Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.20 per hour Benefits: * Extended health care Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Do you have a Covid vaccine?
