Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and professionally.Provide assistance with product selection and answer customer inquiries.Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, using the store's POS system.Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring proper authorization and change disbursement.Store Security:Follow store security procedures to prevent theft and loss.Report any suspicious activity or security breaches to management.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Maintain a clean and organized store and checkout area.Alcohol Sales:Strictly adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding alcohol sales.Verify customer age using appropriate identification methods (e.g., driver's license, passport).Refuse to sell alcohol to individuals who are visibly intoxicated or under the legal age.Report any suspicious activity or violations of alcohol sales regulations to management.Working Conditions:Retail store environment, which may include standing for long periods, lifting and carrying heavy items.Exposure to various products, including alcohol and food items.By following these guidelines, the Liquor and Grocery Cashier can contribute to a safe and responsible shopping experience for all customers.Training: If there are specific training requirements for the position, such as alcohol sales certification or POS system training, include them in the job description.Company culture: Consider adding a brief overview of the company's culture or values to give candidates a better understanding of the work environment.- LocationStockholm, SK
