Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Metal product fabrication industry. Tasks: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools. Clean and maintain work space. Operate plasma cutters. Computer and technology knowledge: Corel Draw. AutoCAD. Specialized machining processes: Plasma ARC. Equipment and machinery experience: Tool grinders. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Small hand tool. Metal fabricating equipment. Area of work experience: Fabrication. Metal cutting. Repetitive machining operation experience: Grinding. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination.
