Job details
* Daily inventory accounting of all raw material and packaging material * Optimize inventory management procedures to ensure effectiveness and accuracy * Identify areas of improvement in warehouse processes and implement enhancements * Assist in managing departmental costs to ensure they remain within the budget * Lead the evening shift warehouse team for daily compliance of all tasks being completed * Staff training and development: provide comprehensive training for the evening shift new hires. Regularly update the team on operational priorities and tasks * Maintain compliance with health, safety, and security regulations to ensure of all personnel, equipment, and property * Follow FIFO-first in first out for all finished goods, raw material, and packaging material * Additional duties and tasks when required * Physical requirements- must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs * Have a valid counter balance forklift license is a plus * 3-5 years managerial experience in a food production facility or relatable warehouse environment * Positive attitude and can adapt to a fast-paced warehouse environment * Extensive knowledge of warehouse procedures and legal guidelines of the field * Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team * Excellent organizational and communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft office * Familiar with FIFO management * Prior experience using a WMS for inventory management is an asset * A proven record of handling inventory cycle counting and reconciliation * NetSuite experience will be preferable.
