The right individual has several years of tax experience, working both with individual and corporate income tax. The Tax Manager will also create exceptional partnering relationships with clients and can share their knowledge and expertise with ease. The right person for this role will be comfortable digging in and doing the important client work and will also operate as a trusted member of our team propelling our business growth. Most importantly, the right candidate will partner seamlessly with the Business Owner to ensure that every tax package is ?clear?, and every client interaction adds the highest level of value. _*Who We Are Looking For*_ We are looking for a highly accountable individual who has several years of experience preparing individual and corporate tax returns and year-end financial statements. The right individual will be a self-starter and have solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills. The Tax Manager needs to come with the ability to jump in and take ownership of tasks, solve problems and drive results. With a variety of client work and additional projects, the right person will strive for excellence every day and take great pride in assisting our clients in reaching their own goals of growth, profit maximization and tax minimization. Our values drive everything we do, and we take great pride in our approach and our care for our clients. _*The Role and Responsibilities*_ The Tax Manager role brings together the skill and expertise of a well-seasoned tax professional with the relationship-building skills of a thoughtful team member. Reporting to the Business Owner this hands-on role will: ? Take part ownership of our corporate tax portfolio - directly managing a variety of client accounts with varied and complex corporate tax needs. ? Successfully transition the ?clean? client work to the Business Owner for the finishing touches and important client interactions, with minimal changes ? Problem-solve more complex issues and tax-related questions independently, researching and creating innovative solutions to client issues. ? Take part ownership of our personal income tax portfolio ? reviewing completed returns and providing final sign-off. ? Support the Business Owner in strategic client management activities by engaging in strategic tax planning and structuring advice to support the client's needs. ? Ensure- LocationDorchester, ON
