Comfort Suites Kelowna is currently searching for a remarkable *Front Office/GS Manager* to join our team We are apart of Hotel Equities, a multi award- winning hotel management company.

The Front Office /GS Manager will be responsible for maximizing hotel operation, including guest and employee satisfaction, financial performance, sales and revenue generation. Will assist and model efficient and courteous service throughout the hotel in accordance to company while maximizing revenue. Overall, the objective too is to enjoy your workplace and be a part of team truly dedicated to doing their best.
The Front Office Manager/GS reports directly to the Hotel General Manager. Our ideal candidate will be engaged, authentic, and prepared to positively impact our ?best in class? hotels
*Essential Functions:*
Leadership skills to motivate coach and train, set goals and have a high integrity. Be goal driven in areas such as Front Desk, Breakfast Bar, and Housekeeping departments and ensuring best practises and guest services in these areas.
Maximize guest experience and overall service
Maintaining Brand Standards throughout the Hotel
Teamwork Skills to be a positive team member and leader, participate with Manager on Duty Program. Maintain effective communication.
Administrative Skills- Complete month and weekly reports, ensure transactions are properly documented and cash and accounts are accounted for. Complete staffing schedules.
Cost Control- If it were you money- would you spend it. Have a full understanding of budgets, financial reports and staffing guidelines, Accuracy in documentation of payables and ensure budgets achieved.
Revenue Generation- ensure all selling technique, assist will product creation and ensures all hotel polices. Able to create promotions and ensure update in Choice System and ensure Front Desk accuracy and completion.
The Successful Candidate Must have a minimum
* Front Office Manager: 2 year (Preferred)
* Housekeeping Manager / Executive Housekeeper: 2 year (Preferred)
Management training, and have a full knowledge of computers and cost controls. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be fully conversant in business computer programs and programming.
