Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Hay farming. Livestock combination farming. Outdoors. Sheep farming. Dangerous. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Wet/damp. Cold/refrigerated. Horse breeding. Livestock. All weather conditions. Dirty. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Handling animals. Marking livestock as proof of ownership. Monitor the calving process. Perform livestock feeding. Track and report on current feed inventory . Treat livestock health issues. Weaning. Weeding. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Maintain livestock performance records. Train horses. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Perform general farm duties.
