*Job Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in Kahnawake. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The café will be open from 5 am to 11 pm weekly, as well as 7 am to 11 pm on weekends. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve a variety of food and drinks as per set guidelines and standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and dining area. * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. * Operate the POS system accurately for order processing and payment transactions. * Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations at all times. * Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations at all times. * Handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining accurate cash drawer balance. *Skills* * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a positive manner. * Experience in food handling and knowledge of food safety practices is preferred. * Proficiency in using POS systems for efficient order processing. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. * Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. * Previous experience in the food industry or food service is a plus. * Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * We are seeking bilingual individuals.
