Pharmasave Ladysmith is seeking a full time registered pharmacy technician to join our team in a fast paced environment. We strive for best customer service, so excellent people skills are a must. Job Description Key responsibilities of a pharmacy technician include - Processing of prescriptions and adjudicating to third party insurance. - Checking blister packs and refill prescriptions. - Assisting patients with OTC recommendations. - Accurate filling and dispensing of prescription medications - Helping patients picking up medications. - Answering telephones and handling customer requests. - Assisting with cashier responsibilities Qualifications -Licensed with BC College of pharmacy. - Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation - Strong communication skills - Demonstrated customer service experience - Proficient computer and data entry skills. - At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician required. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Store discount * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person- LocationNanaimo, BC
