*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Training and Development Manager to lead and develop our training programs and drive learning initiatives across the organization. This position is crucial in fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and high-quality learner-centred instruction.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Program Development & Execution*:
? Develop and implement comprehensive learning strategies and programs
? Design and deliver various training formats, including e-learning courses, workshops, and in-person sessions
? Create lesson plans and refine course content to ensure quality, standards, and effectiveness
? Facilitate Little Lungs and Big Hearts courses as required
*Employee Development*:
? Assess individual and organizational learning needs to tailor development plans
? Introduce and manage diverse learning methods, such as coaching, job-shadowing, and online training
? Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to instructors to support continuous improvement
*Quality Control & Evaluation*:
? Conduct regular audits to maintain course quality and consistency
? Measure the success of training programs and development plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
*Management & Administrative Duties*:
? Oversee training scheduling and manage inventory for training materials and first aid equipment
? Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and development of new instructors
? Track training budgets and negotiate vendor contracts as needed
*Team Leadership*:
? Hire, supervise, and support instructors to enhance program delivery
? Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions, adapting to meet diverse learning styles
*Qualifications:*
? *Education:* Bachelor?s degree in Education, Management, Healthcare, Training, or a related field required
? *Certifications:* First Aid or First Aid Instructor Certification preferred (in-house certification available for the right candidate)
? *Experience:* Proven experience in training, instructional, or development roles
? *Leadership Skills:* Strong background in hiring, coaching, and mentoring
? *Organizational Skills:* Proficient
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $68,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
