THE TEN SPOT® west kelowna assistant manager is responsible for helping with the daily operation of their location. the assistant manager takes a personal interest in the performance of the shop and will routinely go above and beyond to ensure the shop is running smoothly and that guests are looked after. you will need to lead your team with confidence, strength and assurance.
as THE TEN SPOT® west kelowna assistant manager, you must always be polished and professional and lead your team by example. a successful manager must be a champion of THE TEN SPOT® brand and be extremely well versed in our standards and our protocols; not only for our guests but for our staff.
it is crucial that all members of our staff understand and follow our standards each and every day and following our protocols on service protocols, sanitation, safety procedures, guest care, etc. it is important that they are engaged and that they are developed as ambassadors for THE TEN SPOT®. you will oversee and supervise the spa staff. you must provide leadership, motivation and direction to staff in the daily operations of the spa. you must attract new clients and retain existing clientele, by ensuring staff is providing exemplary service execution and excellence in guest care. guide staff in recommending and selling product.
*the assistant manager?s main objectives are focused on staff management, guest experience and administrative tasks/duties. you will find your detailed outline of all managerial expectations in the management manual.*
to ensure your success, we have created management manual. It is your resource for all matters relating to managing a TEN SPOT®. Additional operational tools (guides, manuals, templates etc) are available through the 10Spot?s internal website.
you will be required to read and learn our esthetics expert manual. it is of the utmost importance that you have full knowledge of each of our services including step by step protocols and health & safety standards.
you will be required to read and learn our guest coordinator manual. you will need to learn that role as you will be required to cover breaks for our guest coordinators and be able to completely service our guests before and after their appointments.
as an assistant manager, the following is required of you:
* to oversee and supervise the beauty bar staff. to provide leadership, motivation and direction to staff in the daily operations of the spa.
* to maintain 10 spot standards including service protocols, sanitation, safety procedures, and guest care.
* to attract new clients and retain existing clientele, by ensuring staff is providing exemplary service execution and excellence in guest care. guide staff in recommending and selling product.
* to increase sales and meet goals while staying on budget with inventory, supplies and staffing costs.
* to take a personal vested interest in the cleanliness and appearance of the shop, and work directly with HQ on store improvement projects.
* To demonstrate a positive, helpful and professional working manner
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
