The London District Catholic School Board has a reputation for excellence, with more than 4,500 employees working together to educate approximately 27,500 students at 44 elementary schools, 9 secondary schools and St. Patrick Adult & Continuing Education within Middlesex, Oxford, and Elgin counties, including the cities of London, St. Thomas, Strathroy and Woodstock.<p> <p>We invite applications for the full-time position of... <p> <p>Supervisor of Capital Projects <p>Association of Business Professionals (Non-Union Employee Group)<p>PERMANENT - Full Time Position <p>Effective Immediately<p>Salary Range (Commensurate with experience) : <p>Group 7, $93,648 to $106,419 <p>Extensive Benefit Package and OMERS Pension Plan <p> <p>Reporting to the Executive Manager of Capital Projects, the Supervisor of Capital Projects provides a variety of services, support, and training to address the system-wide capital construction projects related to space and data needs of the LDCSB staff and students. These include, but are not limited to, facilities planning, project planning, construction project management, and contract administration services in supervising capital construction projects. The incumbent will also assist in maintaining space databases for the board, maintaining the Ministry mandated ECIS database, portable planning and lease data, maintaining eBase/Drawbase, and energy contract data. <p><p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE <p><p> Post-Secondary, 3 - year diploma/degree in Architectural Technology, engineering Technologist, Electrical (Building) or Mechanical (HVAC) Design Program.<p> 2 years post-Secondary education in Building Technology and/or Certified Trade through the Ministry of Skills and Training and includes relevant industry experience.<p> A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience supervising people in construction projects in a related field<p> An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.<p> Experience in capital construction projects and managing multiple priorities and projects concurrently.<p> Experience in the development of a complete building design for new construction, renovation and building systems that include mechanical, electrical, network, fire alarm and building automation systems.<p> Detailed knowledge of building codes, and municipal fire regulations<p> Specialized computer skills including databases, project management and electronic drawings.<p> Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT (Preferred)<p> ECIS Database software (Preferred)<p> EBase software (Preferred)<p> Energy Management Certification (Preferred)<p> Health & Safety Certification (Preferred)<p> Excellent problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.<p> Ability to work independently in an organized manner, and collaboratively in a team-based environment.<p> Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality and security.<p> Ability to work in a rolling On-Call environment.<p> Must have a valid Ontario driver?s license (Full ?G?
