Perks!</span></strong><span> </span></span></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <ul> <li><span><span>Competitive salary</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Excellent benefit package with premiums paid by the company</span></span></li> <li><span><span>RRSP Match</span><span> </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Safety-minded organization</span><span> </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Stable, year-round employment</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Continuous training, learning and development opportunities</span><span> </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Fun-loving work environment with strong social responsibility</span><span> </span></span></li> </ul><div><strong>What You’ll Be Doing <br></strong><em>Duties and Responsibilities:</em> </div> <ul> <li> <p>Configure, monitor, and support Fortinet network hardware (firewalls, switches, routers) to ensure optimal performance and security</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct regular network performance monitoring and analysis to identify and resolve issues proactively</p> </li> <li> <p>Use diagnostic tools to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the network infrastructure</p> </li> <li> <p>Develop and maintain network documentation, including configurations, policies, procedures, and best practices</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure compliance with industry standards, policies, and security requirements</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with third-party vendors for equipment procurement, updates, and incident management</p> </li> <li> <p>Work closely with the extended IT Helpdesk to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for software, hardware, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of IT tickets</p> </li> </ul> <div><strong>What You’ll Bring to the Team <br></strong><em>Qualifications and Requirements:</em> </div> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.</p> </li> <li> <p>3+ years of experience in network engineering, specifically with Fortinet hardware.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficiency in VPN setup, configuration, and management.</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with network monitoring and security tools.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with other network hardware brands and cloud environments is a plus.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and unsupervised, showing initiative, sound judgment, and a commitment to improving IT services and supporting end-user productivity.</p> </li> </ul> <p><span><em>Bonus Qualifications: </em></span></p> <ul> <li> <p>Certifications like Fortinet NSE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer, Microsoft Intune, or CompTIA Network+</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficiency in SD-WAN technology, with experience in setup, configuration, and management</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with other network hardware brands and cloud environments is a plus</p> </li> </ul><p><span>Want to learn more about this as well as other opportunities at Cooper?
