You'll join a team of passionate and driven innovators, who are breaking barriers and expanding the reach of Canada's most-loved entertainment.At Bell Media, you'll redefine digital connections and pioneer next-generation services, propelling us to reach new heights, unlock untapped potential and expand horizons for our customers.Job DescriptionPosition: ENG Technician, Bell Media, Unifor 720MSalary: Group 4A - Commensurate with qualifications and experienceLocation: Montreal, QuebecHours of Work: 40 hours per week; Overtime as requiredResponsibilitiesField camera, sound and lighting work, both ENG and EFP, for digital and broadcastTravel to locations (local, national, international), sometimes with little or no advance notice to capture audio / video contentOperate cameras, microphones (wired, wireless, boom), portable mixer, lighting instruments, and non-linear editing softwareLive stream, file transfer, and baseband feed audio / video contentPreferred Qualifications3 to 5 years industry experienceValid Passport and driver's license, and no barriers to entry into the U.S. or international destinationsFamiliarity with all aspects of electronic news gathering / production / editing / feeding / streaming / file transferOperating knowledge of professional broadcast equipment including but not limited to Sony PXW-X400 cameras, digital recording media, waveform monitors, and vector scopesExperience in news-style editing using non-linear editing platforms primarily Adobe Premiere Pro on field notebook computersWorking knowledge of consumer and prosumer devices for image / video capture, streaming and transfer.Familiarity with Dejero Engo TransmittersFamiliarity with all aspects of field video, audio and lightingAbility to travel on short notice#EmployeeReferralProgramAdequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
