Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Dusty. Work setting: Fixture manufacturer. Furniture manufacturing company. Millwork shop. Tasks: Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines. Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures and other wood products. Operate gluing machines to glue pieces or wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces. Operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Replace parts as required. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. Autodesk Inventor. Equipment and machinery experience: Computerized woodworking machine. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Area of specialization: Cabinets. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Screening questions: Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
