We are accepting<p>applications for the following:<p>Position:<p> Maintenance III Journeyman Plumber/Gas<p>Fitter<p>Location: Hinton<p>Start<p>Date: Immediately<p>Hours: 40 hours per week<p>Wage Rate: $35.59 - 39.15, in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement.<p>The<p>competition will remain open until November 12, 2024 at 12:00pm MST <p>SUMMARY: <p>The successful candidate will provide plumbing and gas fitting<p>services to the Facilities Department, under the direction and supervision of<p>the Director of Facilities.<p>DUTIES: <p>Duties of this position are to include but are not limited to: Performance of all duties related to<p> the scope of the trade.<p> Assess school buildings, equipment<p> and/or vehicles for required maintenance.QUALIFICATIONS: Valid journeymans certificate with gas fittings<p> Valid Class 5 Drivers license or<p> higher if required.<p> Other valid certificates as required<p> by Facilities (First Aid, WHMIS, Fire Extinguishers).<p> Technology and computer skills<p> (e-mail, computerized inventory control programs, computerized maintenance<p> programs).<p> Must be self-motivated, self-directed<p> with the ability to organize and prioritize work.<p> Must be able to work with minimal<p> supervision and as a team player.<p> Ability to maintain a high level of<p> confidentiality.<p> Physical ability to perform required<p> duties.<p> HVAC Certification would be an assets but not required. <p> Must have an understanding of RTU's and Boiler Systems.
