Building Cleaner? BC Property Development Council manages United Church buildings across the province.? The Building Cleaner, for the BC Property Development Council of the United Church of Canada (PDC), will provide a variety of cleaning duties. This job is located at 932 Balmoral Rd., Victoria, BC.? Key Responsibilities:? * Cleaning includes vacuuming of carpeted areas, mopping of wood and hard surface floors, periodic cleaning and dusting of ledges and baseboards, cleaning of interior glass windows etc.? * Cleaning responsibilities include the main building including the administrative office, kitchen and Main Hall, church sanctuary, choir lounge, vestry, the narthex and chapel.? * Dusting of shelves, cabinets, chairs, desktops, tables and furnishings to be undertaken in high use areas.? * Replacement of supplies when dispensers are empty.? * Building garbage to be collected and placed in the outdoor bin.? * New garbage bags will be replaced in the receptacles when required.? Benefits:? * This position is not entitled to receive benefits.? * A vacation entitlement of 4% will be included in each pay.? Qualifications and Skills:? * The ability to work on your own.? * Customer service skills.? * To be thorough and pay attention to detail.? * Knowledge of public safety and security.? * Physical fitness and endurance.? * The ability to organize your time and workload.? * A desire to help people.? Position Details:? Part-time, permanent Eight hours per week (Sunday ? 2PM to 6PM and Monday 6PM to 10PM)? Start Date: ASAP? $21-$22 per hour? Please send your resume before November 6, 2024.
