Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. In/on water. Wet/damp. Odours. Tasks: Clean, sanitize and dry aquaculture equipment before the next use to prevent the introduction of pathogens and disease. Maintain aquaculture equipment. Operate aquaculture equipment. Report stock irregularities to supervisors . Cull, mark or tag aquaculture stocks . Clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures. Rake and gather marine plants. Transport marine plants to processing plants. Clean, sort and pack shellfish. Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Large workload. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Dependability. Flexibility. Initiative.
