The Salt Spring Centre School is a certified K-7 independent school delivering BC curriculum with additional focus on small class sizes, relationships, creative arts, social-emotional learning, problem-solving, self-expression, and exploratory outdoor play. We look forward to receiving your application. <p><p><p> Qualifications <p>Successful candidates will:<p><p><p><p> Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate<p> Have interest and expertise in K-3 grade learning <p> Possess an understanding of and commitment to social-emotional learning and youth mental health<p> Actively and personally support a caring attitude towards the land and environment <p> <p> Have training in primary education pedagogy with specific skills in teaching literacy and numeracy<p> <p> <p> Have experience working with neurodiversity<p> <p> Be a team player<p> <p> Be fluent in oral and written English<p> <p> <p> Love learning!- LocationSalt Spring Island, BC
