The Portage la Prairie School Division is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team serving seven urban, one rural and nine Hutterian Schools in a supportive and inclusive environment. <p><p><p> Key Responsibilities <p> - Direct assessment of students speech and language disorders in order to develop in-school programs <p>- Training and supervision of speech/language assistants who carry out programming at each school site <p>- Training, modelling and establishment of communication systems/programming in regular and/or special classroom programs <p>- Implementation of screening processes to assist with the early identification of children with speech/language difficulties<p> - Direct language enrichment with small groups of students through the Indigenous Academic Achievement grant <p>- Facilitation of in-services for staff and families relate to speech/language and literacy issues <p>- Collaborating with school teams, families and collateral agencies to support students across the Division <p>- Early years intervention <p> <p>Qualifications <p>- Master's Degree - Speech-Language Pathologist <p>- Must be registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Manitoba <p>- Eligible for Manitoba School Clinician's Certificate <p> <p>For more information and to apply, go to Portage la Prairie School Division website and find the online link under CAREER OPPORTUNITIES <p> <p>The Portage la Prairie School Division is committed to ensuring our workforce is representative of all communities, and actively works to support that.
