Position: Full-Time Security GuardSite: Brockville General Hospital - 75 CharlesOvertime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours Hours: Continental Rotation - 0700-1900/1900-0700Payrate: $21.27/hourPosting Date: November 1, 2024 (Internal)Closing Date: November 7, 2024 (Internal)Job ResponsibilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment with maintaining the utmost professionalismStrong interpersonal skills, flexible, and customer service orientationRemain calm and effectively perform in emergency situationsAble to understand and follow specific instructions and proceduresComplete consistent patrols of the interior and exterior of sitePerform patient watchesComplete incident reporting and end-of-shift reportsSupervise and monitor guests, staff, and patients to ensure a proactive approach to incidentsQualificationsValid Ontario Security Guard LicenseValid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit TestProof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2) Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.
