<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Are you seeking a full-time plumbing position?</p><p>Are you reliable, resourceful and responsible?</p><p>Are you a Plumber who really knows his stuff?</p><p>Do you have plumbing experience? 3 or more years?</p><p>Do you love to learn new things?</p><p>Are you looking to do good work at a reasonable pace?</p><p> </p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><ul><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of a variety of plumbing systems.</li><li>Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems</li><li>Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors</li><li>Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings</li><li>Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines</li><li>Select the type and size of pipe required and measure, cut, thread, bend, clamp, solvent cement or solder pipe</li><li>Assemble and install valves and fittings</li><li>Join pipe sections and secure them in position</li><li>Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges</li><li>Install sinks, tubs and toilets</li><li>Install underground storm sanitary and water piping systems</li><li>Communicate job status, including changes, additions and damages</li><li>Follow all company policies and procedures including Byron's Plumbing Health and Safety program</li><li>Required to complete Field Level Hazard Assessments regularly and correctly</li><li>Responsible for reporting any unsafe work practices to Supervisor</li><li>Responsible for mentoring and training apprentices</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li><li>Responsible for completing all required administration for the job on a tablet</li><li>Ability to work on-call for emergencies</li><li>Valid WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Aerial Work Platform and Confined Space would be an asset</li><li> </li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrate the company core values every single day: I CARE</li><li>Arrive on time and ready</li><li>Complete all calls efficiently, troubleshoot malfunctions and educate customers</li><li>Show yourself as a knowledgeable professional when providing options on repair and replacement</li><li>Work alongside with other employees to ensure overall success of the business</li><li>Maintain your truck with stocked inventory</li><li>Participate actively in all trainings and morning meetings</li><li>Be accurate time cards and feedback</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits for the Plumber position:</strong></p><ul><li>Paid training and education</li><li>Consistent work with a predictable and stable work schedule (no seasonal layoff)</li><li>Company Vehicle, fully stocked and gas card</li><li>Company iPhone and iPad</li><li>Customized and fitted Company uniforms</li><li>Team and management Support</li><li>Health, vision, and dental Insurance</li><li>Competitive wages with opportunity to earn additional commissions and bonuses.</li><li>Overtime pay x1.5, plus bonus</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Expectations Plumber positions:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Must be reliable, </strong>both the Company and the Customer are expecting you</li><li>Must enjoy serving and helping others</li><li>Must have pride in workmanship</li><li>Must have a clean driving record and valid driver license</li><li>Must have 3 years of experience</li><li>Must have good communication skills</li><li>Must be team oriented as well as work independently</li><li>Must be available for on-call rotation</li><li>Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required.</li></ul><p>At Byron's Plumbing, our motto is <strong>WE CARE</strong>.
