We are currently recruiting experienced Grader Operator to join our growing team who will contribute to the overall success of the Mine Site. This position is located 30min from Merritt and/or 30min from West Kelowna. This is not a camp position and must provide own transportation. *Job Summary: * Candidates should demonstrate a history of skilled experience operating a Grader to spread, smooth & level materials & snow, road construction, running grade, cutting slope, finished grading, working in all types of ground conditions, effective use of wheel tilt for executing turns and grade requirements, performing successive passes over working area observing reference grade stakes or hand signals to specified grades, drawing & grade stake reading with limited supervision and direction. *Key Responsibilities:* * Work safely in a mining environment following company procedures and policies * Daily 360° inspection of all equipment for operational and safety checks * Accurately complete all work reports and maintenance logs as required * Follow equipment maintenance schedule and advise if repair is required * Regularly perform safety inspection of equipment and tools * Support operations through manual labour, including shoveling, operating powered equipment, loading and unloading of miscellaneous supplies and equipment, light maintenance, and other duties as needed *Knowledge & Attributes:* * Ability to complete mandatory internet-based Orientation and Indoctrination training and certification * Class 5 Driver?s Licence and ability to provide a clean Drivers Abstract * Operates safely with care and attention to the equipment, the jobsite and the crew * 3 plus years? experience operating a CAT Grader * Willingness to step out of the cab and perform labour tasks if and when required * Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs * Strict attention and compliance with equipment cleanliness, maintenance and completing logs * Experience on other equipment is an asset * Mining experience an asset * Good communication skills * Minimum age of 18 or older *What we offer:* * Starting at $39.50 per hour, based on experience * Competitive Benefit plan * 7&7 rotation ?
