*POSITION SUMMARY*
Kings Janitorial Inc. is growing across Nova Scotia and we need help to expand further into other areas. By bringing in a sales/office assistant it would allow us to maintain the current client base and help the company grow further. We are looking for a sales/office assistant who will work out of our head office in Coldbrook. We would love to find a team player who is very tech savvy,has a strong sales background, not afraid to make cold calls and emails, understands marketing and advertising, can work with Google Suite and is willing to lend a hand with the office duties.
*MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
The Sales/Office Assistant is responsible for:
_*Providing Administrative Support (25%)*_
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing office tasks such as filing, scanning, doing up lists, printing items, adding things to the calendar, etc. as needed
* Proficiency in Google Suite
* Arrange schedules and make appointments
* Marketing and advertising
* Schedule appointments or give information to clients
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
_*Providing Sales (75%)*_
* Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone and email
* Respond to telephone, electronic inquiries or forward to appropriate person
* Contact potential customers through phone calls and emails.
* Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
* Maintaining client records
* Introducing promotions and opportunities to clients
* Understanding client needs
* Planning sales strategies
*REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES*
* Customer service and have sales experience
* Have good organizational skills and problem-solving skills
* Ability to multitask
* Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accuracy of documentation
* Interact with customers in a courteous and respectful manner
* Willing to work with new things and like to be challenged
* Prioritize and multitask across various duties
* Take direction and carry out instruction in an accurate manner
* Maintain a professional appearance (e.g. clean dressed, personal hygiene)
* Must be adaptable and flexible
* Must be dependable and reliable
* Manage time and prioritize tasks
* Is willing to bring new ideas to the table
*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*
* Previous experience in an office role
* Previous experience in sales
* Must be over the age of 18
* Live in the local geographic area

The Sales/Office Assistant should demonstrate the following competencies

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
