Seeking a skilled roofer to join our team, responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience and commitment to safety and quality. *Responsibilities* * Install, repair, and maintain roofs on various types of buildings, ensuring high standards of quality and durability. * Conduct inspections to assess damage or identify potential issues, reporting findings and recommendations as needed. * Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installation, following safety guidelines and best practices. * Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively, taking proper precautions to ensure a safe work environment. * Follow blueprints, instructions, and other specifications for accurate and efficient installation. * Maintain a clean and organized job site and ensure all materials are handled safely. *Experience and Qualifications* * Previous experience in roofing or a related field is preferred, with knowledge of construction and general handyman tasks. * Familiarity with blueprint reading and the ability to follow detailed instructions is a plus. * Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. * Strong attention to detail and above average problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, communicating effectively with other team members. *Skills and Core Competencies* * Proficiency with hand tools and roofing equipment, including caulking, construction tools, and heavy lifting as required. * Capability to perform precise work, ensuring accurate measurements and alignments in installations. * Commitment to safety, with an understanding of OSHA standards and a strong safety mindset on all projects. *Work Environment and Conditions* * Outdoor work in various weather conditions and environments. * Physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights on ladders or scaffolding. *Performance Reviews and Compensation Growth* * Quarterly performance reviews provide regular feedback and growth insights. * Raises may be awarded based on performance review outcomes. * Promotion into a new position offers the potential for a significant pay increase. * Your dedication and hard work are rewarded with opportunities for career progression and competitive compensation adjustments. *Career Growth Opportunities* At our company, we?re committed to fostering your growth and skills.
