When you join our engineering team, your role will be to develop and manage electrical projects: from identifying needs to implementation. Not only that, but you'll also be able to put your technical knowledge to good use, as your role will include a large automation and programming component. <div><br></div><div>Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, your main duties will be to:</div><div><ul><li>Take charge of, supervise and manage all stages of projects, from design to commissioning</li><li>Plan projects and manpower (planning was previously done by another position holder)</li><li>Act as a technical leader and establish project needs and costs during committees with requestors</li><li>Manage internal and external labor on projects Maintain building and machinery</li><li>Support the rest of the maintenance team, production and ITDesign and draw electrical plans using software such as AutoCAD Electrical</li><li>Design electrical controls</li><li>Maintain Guide Ti maintenance management software</li><li>Program programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human-machine interfaces (HMI)</li><li>Manipulate and analyze data using SQL computer language</li><li>Analyze safety risks, carry out trials, investigate the cause of electrical faults and provide occupational health and safety support</li></ul></div>- LocationSherbrooke, QC
