Whether youre in the classroom, on the playing fields, in the office or in the cafeteria, we know its the dedicated staff who bring our mission to life you are what creates a childs school experience, and contribute to students reaching their full potential.<p>We proudly serve over 40,000 students across almost 100 elementary and secondary schools in Niagara, located between Lake Erie in the South and Lake Ontario to the North.<p>POSITION: French Elementary Occasional Teacher<p>LOCATION: DSBN Elementary Schools in Niagara Region<p>RATE OF PAY: $271.81 daily rate of pay (includes 4% vacation pay)<p>SCHEDULE: 10 months per year (September June) on an as needed basis<p>Position Summary: <p>The DSBN is seeking FSL qualified, and soon-to-be qualified, Elementary Occasional Teacher candidates who provide evidence of meaningful experiences working with children and/or youth. These experiences may include paid, volunteer, and practicum experience. Occasional Teachers work in a variety of schools throughout the Niagara region gaining valuable teaching experience and supporting the needs of students across the system.
