Job details
*Responsible for:*
* Day to day operations of the retail store when the store manager is not present including but not limited to:
* Implementing & maintaining process relative to the operation of the retail store
* Responsible for the direct supervision and direction of the store staff, including training, evaluating, and disciplining employees.
* Addressing complaints, resolving problems, promoting teamwork, and supporting communication by holding monthly staff meetings.
* Balancing staff needs and assuring levels are sufficient to support operations.
* Ensuring compliance with established security, sales, money handling, and record-keeping procedures and practices (banking, benchmarks, cash balancing).
* Responsible for achieving production and store targets.
* Ensuring steady and sufficient flow of merchandise to storefronts to maintain sales expectations.
* Ensuring the highest standard of customer service by training staff to implement our positive customer service policy.
*Other Necessary skills/Requirements:*
* Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communications skills.
* Excellent organizations skills.
* Able to train and coach effectively with a diverse workforce.
* Intermediate computer skills.
* Own transportation and valid driver's license an asset.
* Retail Management experience an asset.
*Physical Requirements*
* Constant standing/walking
* Frequent stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
* Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
* Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps.
