*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. *Duties* * Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary support and instruments. * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software. * Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. * Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction. *Requirements* * Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist. * Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology. * Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus. * Skills in orthodontics and pediatrics are desirable. * Bilingual abilities are an advantage for effective communication with diverse patient populations. * Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with patients. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing individual responsibilities effectively. * Previous experience in dental assisting may be beneficial but is not required.
