<p>Hello ! I'm Gabriel, Recruitment Consultant for Fed Supply, an employment agency specializing in supply chain, logistics, transportation and customer service - offering temporary and permanent jobs in the Greater Montreal area. Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.</p><p>We are supporting one of our customers in the manufacturing sector, located in the Laurentians, in their search for a Master Planner - Assembly.</p><p>Responsibilities :</p><p>-Coordinate SIOP-related activities with the various departments.<br>-Participate in the implementation of the inventory management strategy as part of an overall strategy to improve the inventory turnover rate. <br>-Draw up production schedules based on sales forecasts and stock level targets (monthly and quarterly).<br>-Assess risks and conflicts that could impact the production schedule, and develop contingency plans.<br>-Plan and monitor production requirements.<br>-Monitor production progress and resolve any problems that may arise.<br>-Coordinate change management activities.<br>-Interact with several multi-functional teams (Production, Procurement, Methods, Finance).<br>-Participate in production governance and maintain performance indicators related to his/her function.<br>-Coordinate improvement projects (5S, lean manufacturing, cost reduction, inventory optimization, etc.).</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>-University degree in operations management from a recognized educational institution<br>-5 to 8 years experience in production planning <br>-APICS certification an asset.<br>-In-depth knowledge of computerized processes - MRP/ERP (INFOR an asset)</p><p>Aptitudes :</p><p>-Ability to follow through and meet tight deadlines.<br>-Strong leadership, initiative and communication skills.<br>-Ability to work as part of a team (cooperation, motivation & listening skills, etc.).<br>-Able to demonstrate autonomy, rigor, attention to detail and ease in making decisions.<br>-Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.<br>-Bilingualism essential (French - English).</p><p>The use of English is required for the following reasons:</p><p>-Communication with international customers <br>-Collaboration with English-speaking partners <br>-Drafting documents in English</p><p><br>PROCESS: Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.<br>To apply: www.fedsupply.ca<br>To contact me: (438) 378-7599<br>C: </p>
