Our work environment includes: * On-the-job training * Lively atmosphere * Safe work environment Our operators undertake: Trenching, Sub-grade Excavation, Sloping/Banking, Ditching, Digging at Grade, Rough and Finish Grade Work, Material Handling, Backfilling. We ask our operators to conduct pre-operational equipment checks and daily preventative maintenance. Minimum 5 years proven experience as an excavator operator (6 ton and up) is required. Come ready to work in all weather conditions. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Extended health care * RRSP match Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Overtime * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Greenwood, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * excavator operator: 5 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationGreenwood, NS
