Job details
The main purpose of this position is to provide outstanding service and support to customers using Tecnar Rotoweld equipment. As the company's customer representative, the candidate will be responsible for answering questions, solving problems and installing equipment. The position requires technical skills in electricity and mechanics, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in French and English, both written and spoken. Availability to travel around 80 days a year and respond to customer requests outside normal working hours is also required.<br><br>Main responsibilities:<br><br>1. Customer Support for Rotoweld Appliances:<br><br>Answer customer phone calls and emails.<br>Ensure regular communication with customers to guarantee their satisfaction.<br>Perform remote connections on devices for analysis of results, maintenance suggestion, problem solving, and proposal of tests and solutions.<br>Write post-mission reports after site visits.<br>Record information in company system.<br>Develop technical procedures/manuals for customers.<br>Prepare parts quotations for repair or maintenance.<br>Place parts orders and ensure shipment to destination.<br>Plan preventive maintenance.<br><br>2. On-site assignments for Rotoweld equipment (approx. 80 days per year):<br><br>Carry out pre-planned maintenance visits.<br>Participate in pre-planned installation visits.<br>Respond promptly to urgent repair visits (between 24h and 5 days notice).<br>Perform on-site Rotoweld installations, usually alone, typically lasting 5-8 days.<br>Perform on-site Rotoweld maintenance, usually alone, typically lasting 2-3 days.<br><br>3. Continuous Device Improvement (R&D):<br><br>Actively collaborate with the engineering team to solve recurring problems reported or observed.<br>Test developed solutions and participate in the design of new customer tools.<br>Contribute to the improvement of test procedures.<br>Deploy solutions/improvements to customers.<br>Participate in the testing of new generation Rotoweld products. <br> Degree in electromechanics or related field <br>interest in welding- LocationSaint-Bruno-de-Montarville, QC
