The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to handle various fabrics and garment types efficiently.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Operate Pressing Equipment:</strong> Use steam presses, irons, and other finishing tools to remove wrinkles and shape garments after cleaning.</li><li><strong>Quality Control:</strong> Inspect garments for stains, damages, or imperfections and ensure they meet our quality standards before delivery to customers.</li><li><strong>Fabric Care Knowledge:</strong> Apply appropriate pressing techniques based on fabric types, such as silk, wool, cotton, and synthetic blends.</li><li><strong>Equipment Maintenance:</strong> Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance on pressing equipment to ensure optimal functionality.</li><li><strong>Safety Compliance:</strong> Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean working environment.</li><li><strong>Team Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with other staff members to manage workflow and meet production deadlines.</li><li><strong>Customer Service:</strong> Occasionally interact with customers to address specific garment care instructions or concerns.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Previous experience as a presser in a dry cleaning facility or similar setting is preferred.</li><li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Proficient in operating various pressing and finishing equipment.</li><li><strong>Attention to Detail:</strong> Strong focus on quality with the ability to spot and correct imperfections.</li><li><strong>Physical Stamina:</strong> Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.</li><li><strong>Reliability:</strong> Punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining a consistent work schedule.</li><li><strong>Communication Skills:</strong> Good verbal communication abilities for team interaction and customer service.</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Zipper Plus Cleaners is a reputable dry cleaning service provider committed to delivering exceptional garment care and customer satisfaction.
