*Overview* We are looking for a individual with 1-2 years experience in a bakery or kitchen setting. Baking education is an asset. Must have basic knowledge of kitchen safety and be comfortable working with ovens independently. *You must be able to lift 20kg* and be able to stand for your whole shift. Shifts will vary including early morning opening. *Duties* * Prepare and bake a wide range of products including quick breads, cookies, scones, cakes, bars, muffins, cupcakes, etc. * Assist with decorating cakes and other baked goods with creativity and attention to detail. * Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. * Opening bakery and doing the morning bake off * Packing orders, cookies, etc. * Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers when needed. *Experience* * Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred. * Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. * Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. * A passion for baking and creating delicious products *Please do not reach out regarding the status of your application, ONLY short listed candidates will be contacted. * Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20 per week Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationLangley, BC
