What You'll Do: * Work and interact directly with seed canola growers in the summer * Activities related to seed canola production, management of grower relations, supervision of planting * Perform tasks associated with harvest, conditioning and treat/packaging, some general repair and maintenance, as directed by supervisor. * Harvest activities from receiving to storage * Conditioning activities such as cleaning and sizing, treating and packaging, palletizing, wrapping and sampling * Shipping/receiving, interplant movement, rework, warehousing, and inventory management of bagged and bulk seed, including the safe operation of forklifts * Compliance with Work Instructions and Quality Plan requirements * Complete and maintain appropriate records, documents, or reports such as quality, safety, grower, and inventory?records. QualificationsWhat Skills You Need: * You have your High School Diploma/GED OR are willing and able to obtain your GED within 1 year of hire as a condition of employment. * Knowledge of production agriculture * Valid Driver's License * Ability to adjust quickly to changing conditions and?anticipate needs * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, reliability, work accuracy, and timeliness * Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision * Compliant and engaged with safe work mindset and behavior * Competent computer skills * Willingness to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, dry, and dusty conditions * Ability to climb and/or work in elevated areas; standing and sitting for extended periods * Position involves repetitive motion?and/or repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs * Willing and able to work overtime/weekend/holiday work when needed * Willing and able to work shift work Relocation assistance not offered for this position. VISA Sponsorship is (not) available for this position. This positions is required to work in office 5 days a week.- LocationLethbridge, AB
