*ROLE: *Millwright *REPORTS TO: *Director, Technical Support & Operations *LOCATION: *Port Coquitlam We are looking for a *Millwright Journeyman* (Red Seal) to join our Maintenance team! Our Millwright will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment on the production line! *Opportunities* You will be a great fit if you are a friendly and hardworking team player who is eager to take on new challenges! However, this gives you the opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment where your work has a direct and positive impact on how we create our products! *Here is who you are?* _*Drive & motivation*_ * You are positive, optimistic and strive for excellence with everything you do * You are motivated by challenges and willing to put in the extra mile to get the job done * Ability to multi-task and work in a highly organized fashion with attention to detail and accuracy * You are passionate about healthy living and have values that align with Happy Planet _*Character & Abilities*_ * You are able to lift up to 23kg * You are multitasker who can juggle priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * You pay extra attention to details and have excellent hand-eye coordination * You can make sound and safe judgement * You are independent operator that requires minimal supervision _*Skills & Experience*_ * You have 3-5 years of relevant experience in a busy food manufacturing environment * You have a Red Seal Millwright Certificate * You have a strong background in electrical diagnostics and repair * You have experience and ability to troubleshoot PLC and program logic an asset * Working Knowledge of HMI as they relate to processing, filling equipment in a food-manufacturing environment * You have strong computer skills including MS Office Suite * You have excellent mathematical and mechanical skills * You have great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) _*Nice-to-Have*_ * Fabrication experience an asset with the ability to TIG weld * Power engineering certificate 4th. Class or higher level * Experience and/or education in lean manufacturing; Six Sigma *things you will do?* * Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures * Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions * Operate hoisting/lifting device and operate machine tools as needed * Install, align, take apart, and move stationary industrial machinery/mechanical equipment using appropriate tools * Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts * Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery *other?* * 10 hour shifts, depending on scheduled shift * 40 hour regular work week schedule * Shift start and end times will vary, with Days, Afternoons or Evening Shifts Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Company pension * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Night shift * Overtime * Weekends as needed Experience: * Maintenance Mechanic: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Red Seal ticket (required) Work Location: In person- LocationPort Coquitlam, BC
