The Receiving Clerk, under the direction of the Shipping Manager, will primarily be responsible to adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times. This position will compile, verify, record, and process documentation. This role will also receive and process warehouse stock products. The Receiving Clerk must possess ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and high flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment. * Receive, inspect and record shipments from suppliers * Sort incoming materials * Prepare items for shipment by verifying order details, packing and labelling * Count inventory returns * Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times * Compile, verify, record, and process documentation * Receive and process warehouse stock products * Report any discrepancies in inventory to management * Operate lifting devices such as forklifts and hoists * Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices * Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in correct storage location * Record contents of shipping containers in accordance with established methods *Job Requirements* * Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing * Strong math skills for accurate inventory counts and measurements * Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and packaging methods * High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $24.50-$25.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationStoney Creek, ON
