Algonquin Equipment is looking for a technician for our service department that can do it all. Do you have strong expertise in repairing all makes and models of Snowmobiles, ATV's, and Marine? Major Duties and Responsibilities: - Accept work assignments from Service Manager and prioritize each job to anticipate further time and parts needed. - Request parts for the job as early as possible when needs become known - Perform service, repair, and diagnostics work on Spyders, ATV's, Snowmobiles, and Seadoo's in accordance with factory specifications and practices. - Complete repair work with the scheduled time period. - Maintain productivity (time spent working on billable jobs) as close to 100% as possible - Notify Service Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known so that the customer may be contacted and notified. - Keep the work area clean and assist others with maintaining shop cleanliness Qualifications and Job Requirements: - Experience as a Powersport Technician - Mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic skills - Ability to write and complete routine technician reports - Ability to read manuals and carry out proper procedures - Ability to multitask and excellent organizational skills are a must - Frequently required to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs - Hold a valid driver's license Commitments: - Treat all employees and customers fairly, courteously and with dignity - Maintain positive relationships with customers, other employees, and owner - Maintain up to date technical training - Focus on quality and service - Must be trustworthy and dependable - BRP Technical training would be an asset - Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification would be an asset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $50,000.00 per year Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-11- LocationGreater Sudbury, ON
