Hamilton Volkswagen is looking to add a motivated and qualified Automotive Repair Technician to our existing automotive shop. This location has developed a growing service department and has become the ?Go-To? service location for all generations of VW products over the past 25 years. Automotive Service Technicians are responsible for fixing and maintaining a variety of vehicles across VW?s extensive line up. This role will provide the opportunity to learn relevant technologies in the areas of: Drivers Assistance, Diagnostic Procedures, EV?s, Hybrid, Gasoline and Diesel engines, and all-wheel drive powertrains. In addition to hands-on training, Volkswagen Canada provides on-going support and training on an annual basis. Perform mechanical inspections and provide recommendations for vehicle safety, operation and fitness. ? Inspect motor vehicles for proper operation, and perform road tests ? Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems ? Diagnose, test and repair vehicles in accordance with Volkswagens strict repair policies and procedures ? Perform scheduled maintenance service ? Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements ? Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor Requirements: ? 1-3 years? experience ? Available to work up to 6 days some weeks including Saturdays ? Valid G driver?s license Compensation and Benefits: ? Lucrative and competitive labour rates (starting rate guarantees negotiable) ?
