Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment. Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators and other components. Perform on-site servicing and repair. Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electrical Mechanic Trade Certification. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
