The following temporary<p>position is open for applications:<p>EDUCATION ASSISTANT SPECIAL EDUCATION<p> CUPE Competition No. 5897<p>EDUCATION ASSISTANT SUPERVISION Location: District<p> North <p> Spring Creek Community School <p>Temporary : Immediately<p>to June 27, 2025, or return of Incumbent, whichever comes first Hours: 4.7<p>hours per day, for all days school is in session for students (Education<p>Assistant) <p> 1<p>hour per day, for all days school is in session for students (Supervision) <p>Rate of Pay: <p> $33.69/hour (Education Assistant) <p> $31.49/hour<p>(Supervision) Duties &<p>Responsibilities: <p>Under<p>the direction of the Principal(s) and the general supervision of the Classroom<p>Teacher(s), provides assistance to students who have physical disabilities,<p>chronic health impairments, intellectual disabilities and/or social, emotional<p>and behavioural problems as designated by the Director of Instruction, while<p>supporting the achievement of stated programs goals and objectives. Supervision<p>of a designated area either inside or outside the school, before, during and/or<p>after school as defined by the terms of the assignment.This position will require the successful applicant<p>to deliver a higher level of care. Qualifications: <p>Completion of Grade 12<p>plus a special program and over six (6) months up to and including one (1)<p>years related experience. A special<p>program would be the Capilano University Education Assistant Program. Valid Class 5 B.C. Drivers License.<p>Knowledge of basic First Aid.
