Job details
Bison Protection Services Inc., a leader in the Canadian fire protection industry is growing and searching for shop help for our Regina branch to the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, this role is responsible to service fire extinguishers, fire hoses and suppression system cylinders as well as assist field service technicians with inspections as required.
Responsibilities:
* Performs service work to fire extinguishers, fire hoses and suppression system cylinders in an efficient and time sensitive manner
* Assists field service technicians with inspections as required
* Perform warehouse and yard maintenance as directed
* Perform other duties as instructed by the Senior Shop Hand and/or Operations Manager
* Must participate in physical inventory counts as instructed by Operations Manager
* participate in any required certification or training for their specific role
* attend and participate in all safety, service and general staff meetings as required
Qualifications:
* Minimum education requirement: Grade 12 graduate
* 1 to 2 years work experience and be willing to learn
* Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to work with small hand tools and equipment
* ability to multi-task and work effectively with minimal direction or supervision
* flexible and able to adapt easily to schedule changes
* present professional image & behaviours on when dealing with customers, vendors, other service providers and other staff members
* strong verbal and written communication
* be a team player

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
